Tuludi Camp

Okavango Delta

Set within the Khwai Private Reserve, Tuludi occupies a prime position on Botswana's Okavango Delta’s floodplains, an area known for its consistently high wildlife density. Elephant and buffalo move through the grasses in large numbers, while zebra, giraffe and antelope attract predators to the waterways branching off the Khwai River. Spread across more than 200,000 hectares of protected wilderness, this is classic Delta scenery at its most dynamic, paired with front-row game viewing throughout the year. An excellent choice for a luxury holiday to Botswana, Tuludi combines exceptional wildlife encounters with a refined, low-impact safari experience.

Accommodation

Tuludi features seven tents: six twin or double suites and one family tent, all with ensuite bathrooms and indoor and outdoor showers. High-pitched canvas roofs enhance the feeling of space, while elevated boardwalks connect the suites through the trees, keeping each one discreetly placed. Interiors include separate sleeping and dressing areas, deep bathtubs, sunken seating spaces and private plunge pools overlooking the floodplains.

Food & drink

Meals are served in both indoor and outdoor settings, with a strong focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Bush sundowners, relaxed lunches and evenings around the firepit are part of the rhythm of camp life. A well-stocked bar and curated wine selection round out the dining experience.

Activities

Daily game drives explore the Khwai ecosystem, known for its predator sightings and varied terrain. Guests can also take to the waterways by mokoro or boat, enjoy guided nature walks, or opt for a helicopter flight over the Delta. Cultural visits to Khwai Village, fishing excursions and sleep-out experiences add further depth to the stay.

Sustainability

Tuludi operates in partnership with the Khwai Village, ensuring tourism directly supports conservation and community initiatives. Projects include anti-poaching efforts, the Maria Ramsden Learning Centre for early childhood education, women’s empowerment programmes and wild dog disease prevention. The camp runs on solar power and maintains a strong focus on low-impact operations and long-term environmental stewardship.

Children

Children aged six and above are welcome, making Tuludi a strong option for a luxury family safari in Botswana.

Best time to go

Tuludi is open year-round, with each season offering a different perspective on the Delta. July to October brings higher water levels and large concentrations of game, while the drier months draw wildlife to the Khwai River right in front of camp.

How to get there

Guests fly into Maun or Kasane, then connect via light aircraft to Tuludi’s private airstrip in the Khwai Private Reserve. From there, it’s a short game drive into camp.
