Conceived by Mexico City–based architects Taller de Arquitectura X, the hotel was built entirely from local clay, brick, wood, and concrete, and runs entirely on solar power. The aesthetic is earthy and minimalist, designed to blend with its environment of coastline, desert flora, and Sierra Madre mountains. The property feels secluded and serene, with an emphasis on slowness, sustainability, and reconnection with nature.

The hotel has just 14 villas, each split across two levels with open-air layouts. Ground floors feature shaded terraces, hammocks, and private plunge pools, while bedrooms upstairs open onto rooftop terraces with panoramic views. Interiors are minimalist, with handcrafted wooden furniture, terracotta tones, and woven textiles. The open design encourages natural ventilation and a closer connection with the surrounding landscape.
