The landmark building houses 20 suites, while the 40 tower and two penthouse suites provide elevated luxury with panoramic vistas. For groups seeking a bit more privacy, a restored historical villa accommodates up to 10 guests, offering an intimate and exclusive retreat.

The hotel features two restaurants: a relaxed lounge where an all-day menu is served in a space defined by natural materials and a more dramatic dining room with tiered seating, ensuring uninterrupted mountain views. Both menus showcase ‘forest cuisine’—a sophisticated fusion of Mediterranean and alpine flavours crafted with the freshest locally sourced ingredients. The bar, the highest in the world, transforms Alpine herbs, nuts, and berries into artisanal cocktails, each drink a reflection of the surrounding landscape.

The Dolomites provide an extraordinary natural playground. Guests can explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed mountains through guided hikes, mountain biking, or paragliding. Helicopter excursions and day trips to the vineyards of South Tyrol offer further adventure, or you can take to the slopes for skiing during the winter months. For those seeking tranquillity, the 2,000 sqm spa—tucked beneath the hotel’s striking wooden towers—features a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, outdoor sauna, and steam bath, all with spectacular views of the Dolomites.

Sustainability

FORESTIS is built on a philosophy of harmony with nature. The hotel operates with a reduced carbon footprint, recycles extensively, and uses wood pellets as a sustainable heating source. Water is drawn from a pristine artesian spring, and the kitchen follows a strict zero-waste policy, even designing custom wooden delivery boxes. Architect Armin Sader ensured the new towers were carbon-neutral, constructed with all-natural materials and inspired by Tyrolean traditions. For every tree felled during construction, two were planted in return. Guests can also contribute: for every day they opt out of housekeeping, the hotel plants a tree.

The closest international airport is Innsbruck, a two-hour drive away, with direct flights from major European cities. For those arriving by train, Munich, Milan, Venice, Innsbruck, and Verona offer direct routes to Bressanone/Brixen station, Tyrol’s oldest city, just 30 minutes from the hotel. Travel times vary, with journeys taking up to three and a half hours, depending on your departure point.
