Day 1

Arrival - Camellia Hills

Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be privately transferred from the airport to Camellia Hills. A road transfer will take approximately 5 hours, or a chartered air taxi can also be arranged. 

You will be staying at Camellia Hills for two nights, an intimate five-bedroom boutique property. Take some time to settle into the beautiful surroundings and adjust to the island's relaxed pace. You can spend the afternoon at your leisure, with a traditional Sri Lankan dinner will be served at the property in the evening.

Day 2

Camellia Hills

Enjoy a slow morning with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the panoramic Castlereagh Valley. 

Your afternoon will be spent exploring the beautiful hill country, with activities such as visits to tea plantations, long walks to Adam's Peak and more available. Lightfoot's travel consultant will be able to advise you on the best activities for your party. 

Unwind back at the property with a swim in the outdoor pool, a sundowner, and dinner. 

Day 3

Camellia Hills

Wake up to another beautiful day in the hill country. Today, your day will start with a morning hike through the nearby surroundings, followed by a hearty breakfast. 

The rest of the afternoon can be spent at your own pace, whether that be relaxing on the property's grounds or exploring the nearby area with a plethora of activities.

End the day with a sundowner and dinner at the property. 

Day 4

Camellia Hills - The Sun House Galle

Today, following breakfast you will be privately transferred for approximately six hours to The Sun House Galle. 

Upon arrival, relax with lunch before settling into this charming property. Spend the afternoon at your own pace, exploring the grounds, featuring beautiful gardens and a tranquil pool. 

In the evening, head to Galle Fort for dinner at a restaurant recommended by our expert team. 

Day 5

The Sun House Galle

Wake up with soothing morning yoga, followed by a tropical breakfast at the property. 

Afterwards, the day can be spent exploring the storied and boutique-lined streets of Galle Fort, visiting turtle conservatories and more. Your travel consultant will be able to advise you on the best experiences that suit your travel style and interests. 

End your day with a peaceful dinner. 

Day 6

The Sun House Galle

Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast at the property.

Today can be spent at your own pace, relishing in the beautiful property, or exploring the nearby area. 

Spend your last evening at the property with an intimate dinner.

Day 7

The Sun House Galle - Kumu Beach

After a peaceful breakfast in the property's gardens, you will be privately transferred to Kumu Beach, an hour's drive away. 

Nestled right on the beach, you can spend the afternoon lounging in the sun on the beach shores or by the pool. Take advantage of the onsite spa with a tranquil massage. 

Enjoy a sundowner on the beach before having dinner at the property's restaurant. 

Day 8

Kumu Beach

Today is entirely yours to relax and enjoy.

Your travel consultant will recommend the best spots for breakfast and lunch, and can tailor activities to your interests, whether that’s surfing, snorkelling, or setting out on a boat trip. 

In the late afternoon, return to the property to unwind from a busy day. Dinner will be served with views of the lapping ocean. 

Day 9

Kumu Beach - Lunuganga Estate

Today, you will depart for your final property. Lunaganga Estate is approximately 45 minutes away by private transfer, set on the banks of the Dedduwa Lake.

This special property was once the private estate of renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa, now a boutique hotel set within beautiful gardens. Spend the afternoon relaxing, exploring your surroundings, or on a boat ride across the Dedduwa Lake. 

For dinner, enjoy a peaceful meal by the lake. 

Day 10

Lunuganga Estate

Today is your last day, and it can be spent at your leisure. 

Discover sleepy temples, visit cinnamon farms or simply relax by the pool and in the gardens of this stunning property. Your travel consultant will be able to advise you on the best activities, depending on your preferences. 

In the evening, enjoy your final traditional dinner while reflecting on the wonderful moments of your trip.

Day 11

Departure

This morning, your luxury holiday to Sri Lanka comes to a close. After breakfast, take a private transfer to the airport to begin your onward journey.
