Located just beside the Caribbean sea and in your own private dock, the feel here is all about indulgence and decadence. All villas feature wicker furniture, designer Egyptian cotton sheets, full length windows, large verandas and private pools.
The sea is at your doorstep, quite literally. Guests can go for a snorkel, soak up the sunshine from a sun lounger, and it may be the case that you don’t see another soul.
Chef Patrick and his team are on hand to whip up whatever culinary delights you fancy. Before arriving at Cayo Espanto, guests are encouraged to complete a survey for the chefs to prepare bespoke meals based on a daily changing menu.
Away from your villa and the dining area, you’ll find a scenic spa, kayaks for rent and plenty of watersports.

Location & Getting There
Guests of Cayo Espanto can hop on a 15-minute domestic flight from Philip Goldson Airport in Belize to San Pedro in Ambergris Caye. From there, it’s a seven-minute boat ride to paradise. Guests may also choose to arrive via helicopter from Belize for a direct flight.
Accommodation
There are seven villas at Cayo Espanto, some with one-bedroom and others two. All villas come with a private plunge pool, outdoor showers and a private dock to ensure you are just steps away from the Caribbean sea. Casa Solana is particularly impressive with its large, private infinity plunge pool. Casa Estrella is ideal for families with its two-storey, two-bedroom 2,600 square foot villa.
Activities
Cayo Espanto has the perfect spa overlooking the sea. The resort also offers kayaks for rent and can organise a number of excursions from fishing, scuba diving, bird watching or exploring Mayan ruins.
Children
Children are welcome at Cayo Espanto. Cots are available for tiny tots.
