JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa

Jeju Island

The first JW Marriott Resort and Spa in South Korea, the Jeju Island resort, was designed by Bill Bensley, the award-winning interior designer and hotel architect.

The hotel has 197 rooms and suites beautifully designed in a minimalist style with Korean touches. Each room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable seating areas, marble ensuite bathrooms, and a garden or sea view balcony. There are connecting rooms for families and the option to book a Family Suite with two bedrooms.

The culinary offering at JW Marriott Jeju is one of the best in South Korea and starts the moment you arrive with tea and a local sweet treat in the beautiful lobby. Yeomul, the omakase-style restaurant, honours Jeju's legendary female divers by serving the locally harvested seafood caught by the divers.

After exploring Jeju island's many UNESCO heritage sites, you can unwind at the hotel’s fabulous spa or swim in the infinity pool.

Children of all ages are welcome at JW Marriott Jeju, which offers an extensive programme of activities, a kids' club, and a playground.

The hotel is a 40-minute drive from Jeju International Airport.

Why we recommend JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa

"Opened in 2023, this is the brand’s first hotel in South Korea, and they couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The expansive resort is set high on a cliff on Jeju's southern coast with sweeping views of the East China Sea. We love the attention to detail throughout – there is a real sense of place here, drawing on the surrounding volcanic landscapes of the beautiful Jeju island."
