With a total of just 28 villas and suites, it's an intimate and one-of-a-kind escape displaying numerous hand-picked treasures and fascinating artefacts that reflect the national diversity of the region.

Dining is a daylong affair at The Sanchaya’s all-day dining restaurant where guests can opt to eat whenever they please as opposed to allocated mealtimes. There is an extensive wine list and all the ingredients are market-fresh. For a more casual eatery, the Tasanee Grill serves tasty Thai street food and seafood straight from the sea.
The spa is one of the hotel’s highlights and offers an extensive and bespoke treatment menu, concocted by Jacqueline Le Sueur, a spa and wellness specialist. The first class spa features six treatment rooms located within a three-hectare garden.

The Sanchaya is located on Bintan Island in Indonesia, which can be reached by a 45 minute ferry ride from Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
Accommodation
With only 19 private villas and nine suites within The Great House, The Sanchaya is an intimate property. Each room is spacious and boasts a private verandah, super-king-size beds, walk-in closets as well as a well-stocked wine fridge. The Mali Villas are inspired by Thai architecture, offering a serene abode. The Sen Trang Villas are a modern take on Vietnamese design. The Great House Suites are all located in the Great House and are located close to all of the property’s services and amenities.
Activities
Yoga and archery classes can be organised on request, as can kitesurfing. The main goal at The Sanchaya is relaxation and rejuvenation.
