Constance Tsarabanjina

Madagascar

Situated in the north-western part of Madagascar, about 40 miles from the island of Nosy Be, Constance Tsarabanjina is one of Madagascar's remotest and most intimate lodges fringed by Africa's white sandy beaches, lush vegetation, coral reefs, and all year-round sunshine.

The 25 timber bungalows are contemporary and sleek, and while they don’t have televisions, each one comes with a sea view which can be enjoyed from a little deck with daybeds, air conditioning, fan and minibar. All bungalows have direct access to the beach.

Meals are served upstairs in a restaurant on the beachfront where fresh seafood and Malagasy dishes are the specialties. There’s also a beach bar serving cocktails, house wines and beers.

Spend your days lazing on the sands, and enjoying island walks or water sports. As Constance Tsarabanjina is considered a sacred islet, on the small peninsula of the eastern beach you can find the tomb of the Sakalava kings of the Mitsio and see the people of the islands bringing their offerings.
