Large walk-in canvas tents with enormous cedar beds, solar lighting, and fine linens provide sumptuous accommodation for a maximum of 12 guests. All six safari tents feature en suite bathrooms with traditional safari showers, washbasins and flush loos. Each tent also features its own private veranda.
There is a large living room under canvas complete with bar, library, comfy sofas and writing table. The dining tent has a dining table that can seat up to 16 people.
Offbeat Mara Camp is the ideal location for full-day game drives and night game drives. Book in for picnics in the bush, hot air balloon safaris, and evenings around the campfire, reflecting on the adventures of the day.

Location & Getting There
Offbeat Mara Camp is nestled in a valley on the Olare Orok River, deep in the heart of the Mara North Conservancy, offering easy access to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. International flights arrive at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport. From there it is a short drive to Wilson Domestic Airport, with scheduled flights to Laikipia airstrip, a 40-minute drive to camp.
Accommodation
Offbeat Mara includes just six traditional tents, sleeping a maximum of 12 guests in the exclusive safari camp. Enter the large walk-in canvas tents to find enormous cedar beds, solar lighting, and fine linens. Relax in sumptuous accommodations with the convenience of ensuite bathrooms with traditional safari showers, washbasins, and flush loos. Step out onto your own private verandah and marvel at the nature that surrounds you.
The heart of Offbeat Mara Camp is the main ‘mess’ tent that features a comfortable lounge area decorated with traditional Kenyan textiles, a bar/library area to relax and mingle with other guests, and a dining area, lit up like a jewel every evening. Every space is designed for maximum privacy and breathtaking views. Relax, rejuvenate, unwind.

Sitting in the heart of the 74,000 acre Mara North Conservancy, Offbeat Mara Camp is the ideal location for full-day game drives and night game drives in custom-built Land Cruisers. Visit wildebeest crossing points on the Mara River. Check out the majestic rhinos at the rhino sanctuary. Children
Offbeat Mara is not suitable for very young children. Older children are welcome to join and enjoy the safari experience.
