Mahali Mzuri provides 12 spacious and ultra-stylish tents designed for maximum privacy and comfort. Each tent features bespoke furnishings; think bamboo light fittings, basket-woven lamps and wooden furniture. A clawfoot bathtub is perfect for relaxing as you sip a glass of champagne and admire the spectacular views.

The main tent boasts open fireplaces, a library and a cosy atmosphere. Outside there’s a 12 metre infinity pool, and a spa room offering relaxing massages during the day.

Mahali Mzuri is in a prime spot for viewing the great migration and the emphasis is on game drives, both by day and night. Other activities include visits to local markets, bush barbecues and romantic champagne picnics.

Location and getting there

The camp is located in the Masai Mara, 240 km west of Nairobi in Kenya. It is an hour’s light aircraft flight from the city’s Wilson Airport, followed by an hour’s drive.

Accommodation

The camp accommodates up to 24 guests in 12 luxurious and ultra-modern tented suites. Each tent features a canvas roof, four-poster bed with plush linens, wooden floors, darkwood furniture, contemporary furnishings, an ensuite bathroom with a clawfoot bath and an impressive deck.

Activities

The array of activities includes game drives, bush walks, champagne picnics, spa treatments or visits to a nearby village.

Children

Children of all ages are welcome, however it is recommended for those aged 6 or older. There are two family tents and a number of bespoke activities and amenities for younger guests. Babysitting can be arranged if requested in advance.
