For a true escape from modern day living, Sable Alley is the ideal destination. Overlooking a lagoon that’s connected to the Khwai and Sable Alley rivers, it’s situated in the Khwai Private Reserve, which borders Botswana’s famous Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta.

With views over the lily-covered waterway and Moremi, this homely stay transports you into the deep heart of nature. Long sandy pathways lead to 12 tented chalets which feel like your own secluded hideaway. The spacious timbre-framed structures are elevated onto raised decks, and come with en suite bathrooms, private verandas, and indoor and outdoor showers.

The swimming pool, lounge and outdoor seating areas feature uninterrupted views of the resident pod where around 30 hippos and herds of elephant and buffalo come to drink. All you have to do is pull up a camp chair and relax as you watch the animals roam in their natural habitat.

Accommodation

Sable Alley has 12 spacious chalets with indoor and outdoor showers. Either tent has either twin beds or double beds.

Activities

4WD vehicles are available at Sable Alley for day and night drives. Guests have plenty of activities to choose from- bird watching to Mokoro excursion to safaris.

Children

Sable Alley is more suitable for teenagers since chalets connect, but do not interconnect, so children younger may not be appropriate at the property.
