Legado Mitico

Buenos Aires & The Pampas

Tucked away in the bohemian enclave of Palermo Soho, Legado Mitico offers a refined base from which to explore Buenos Aires. Set within a restored townhouse, the hotel blends the intimacy of a private residence with the elegance of a boutique stay. Each of its eleven rooms pays homage to a defining figure from Argentine history or culture, including revolutionaries and literary icons, styled with curated artefacts, locally sourced materials and rich textures that evoke the country’s heritage.

Legado Mitico embraces the personalised hospitality of a bygone era, offering a warm, restful atmosphere with the vibrancy of Palermo just beyond the door. Guests can enjoy a central patio, a solarium terrace, and a library lined with books and an open fireplace. Though set in the heart of the city, this is a tranquil retreat — a thoughtfully designed space that captures the cultural and aesthetic legacy of Argentina.

Accommodation

Each of the 11 rooms are named after an iconic Argentine figure, from literary giants like Jorge Luis Borges to national heroines like Evita Perón, with interiors drawing on their personalities, philosophies, and aesthetics. These rooms are divided into three categories: Mythical Classics, Mythical Superiors, and Mythical Deluxe.

Food & Drink

While there is no on-site restaurant, a generous à la carte breakfast is served each morning in the lounge or on the patio, featuring homemade pastries, seasonal fruit, and locally sourced ingredients. The honesty bar invites guests to enjoy Argentine wines and spirits at leisure, while staff are on hand to recommend nearby eateries.

Experiences

Legado Mitico is not a hotel that dictates your itinerary. Instead, it acts as a calm, grounded base from which to discover the city at your own pace. Whether you're tracing the footsteps of Borges in San Telmo, attending a late-night tango show, or exploring Buenos Aires' vibrant design scene, Lightfoot can arrange tailored experiences. Back at the hotel, spaces like the library, patio, and fireplace lounge encourage slow, thoughtful moments between enjoying the city’s pulse.
