Dulini River Lodge

On the banks of the Mabrak River in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in Kruger National Park, South Africa, Dulini River Lodge is located in an area renowned for its leopard sightings.

Small but perfectly formed, the lodge boasts just six lavish and spacious thatched cottages. Each cottage is classically decorated with a mix of colonial elegance and laid-back luxury, and comes with its own viewing deck with heated plunge pool.

The lounge and dining areas at Dulini River Lodge are under thatch with open sides, high ceilings and screed floors so guests feel connected to the environment. Deep comfortable sofas, an extensive deck, a giant sausage tree and an open air Boma add to the amenities.

Start the day with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast back at camp. Spend the afternoons enjoying bush walks or relaxing by the pool before another game drive. Evenings are best spent with a romantic candlelit dinner, freshly prepared by the lodge’s private chefs and eaten under the stars.

Location & Getting There

Dulini River Lodge is located in Exeter in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in South Africa’s Kruger National Park in Greater Kruger. Its an hour’s light aircraft flight from Johannesburg or Tambo followed by an easy game drive.

Accommodation

Each of the six cottages features a king-size canopy bed, a cosy fireplace, huge windows, a lavish bathroom with clawfoot bath and a deck and decent sized plunge pool.

Activities

The camp is in an area known for its Big 5 game viewing and the emphasis is on game drives, both day and night. Other activities include bush walks and bird watching, and in-room massages are available.

Children

Children aged 8 or over are welcome at Dulini River Lodge, however the it does have a romantic feel. Babysitting can be arranged.
