Hoanib Valley Camp

This luxury African safari camp lies among sand dunes overlooking a dry riverbed and waterhole in the Hoanib River Valley, in Namibia’s northern Damaraland, an area with a rich diversity of desert-dwelling wildlife.

The camp provides eight spacious and stylish tents including one family unit. Each tent has been designed to blend in with the natural surroundings and features a sand-coloured canvas roof structure, simple but elegant décor and an expansive deck overlooking the unspoilt landscape.

As well as nature drives to spot the elusive, desert-dwelling elephant and lion, you can take a scenic flight to the Skeleton Coast, visit a desert oasis or race through the sand dunes in a 4WD.

Getting There

To reach Hoanib Valley, there are 2 transport options you can take - Car or Plane.

By Car: Take the pre-arranged transfer from Windhoek or Swakopmund to the accommodation. The journey duration from Windhoek to Hoanib Valley is 8 hours long. The journey duration from Swakopmud to Hoanib Valley is 7 hours long.

By Plane: Fly to Windhoek and then switch to a light aircraft to fly to the airstrip at Hoanib Valley Camp

Accommodation

There are 6 tents, made up of 5 twin tents and 1 family tent on the property. Each tent comes with an ensuite bathroom with indoor & outdoor showers, WiFi, battery charging facilities and complimentary laundry service.

All meals, local drink and activities are included in the lodging.
