Day 1

Day 2

Today begins with an exploration of Valletta, a city crafted by the Knights of St John. Highlights include a private visit to St John’s Co-Cathedral to see Caravaggio’s masterpiece, and a tour of the Grand Master’s Palace, once the seat of the Knights. Lunch is served at Rampila, nestled into the city’s ancient walls. Wrap up the day with dinner overlooking the harbour.
Day 3
Ancient Temples & Sea Adventures
Travel back to prehistory at the UNESCO-listed temples of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra. Children can enjoy learning about ancient civilisations in a hands-on way. A sea salt harvesting demo brings nature and science alive, followed by lunch with Mediterranean views. End the day with beach time or a refreshing swim.
Day 4
Malta at War & Family Roots
Discover Malta’s pivotal role in WWII with stories that bring history to life. The highlight is a traditional dghajsa boat ride across the Grand Harbour, followed by lunch at King's Own Band Club. In the afternoon, explore the village of Hamrun, a colourful neighbourhood tied to family roots and authentic Maltese street life. End with dinner by the waterfront.
Day 5
Sail to Gozo
Step aboard a private yacht for a sun-soaked journey to Gozo. Cruise past dramatic cliffs and hidden bays before docking near your next hotel, Kempinski San Lawrenz. Lunch is served on board, and the afternoon is for poolside relaxation. Dinner is set at Ta’ Karolina, with views of Xlendi Bay.
Day 6
Gozo Adventures
Gozo’s rugged landscape is perfect for a quad biking adventure (or Jeep for younger families). Visit the Citadel, play a game of bocci, and enjoy a private picnic crafted with local produce. End the day with dinner at Country Terrace as the sun sets across the sea.
Day 7
Mdina & Rabat
Return to Malta and head to the hilltop city of Mdina. Kids can try making pastizzi (Malta’s beloved savoury pastry), while adults enjoy Rabat’s historical charm. Visit St Paul’s Catacombs and enjoy a private tour of a noble palazzo. Your hotel tonight is The Xara Palace, nestled within Mdina’s medieval walls.
Day 8
Rural Malta & Winery Farewell
Wrap up your trip with a family-friendly rural adventure. Visit a sheep farm for cheese tasting, meet a falconer, and enjoy a rustic lunch in an olive grove. In the evening, a private farewell dinner awaits at Markus Divinus Winery, where kids can roam the vines while adults enjoy the fruits of them.

Departure
After breakfast, your driver will take you to the airport for your onward flight. Leave Malta with new stories, skills, and a deeper connection to this fascinating island.
