Going Wild in Southern Africa

The Linyanti region attracts some of the highest densities of elephants in Africa during the height of the dry season. When in Cape Town - along with exploring all the famous sights - make sure you spend time experiencing the burgeoning craft beer and gin scene!

Arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be assisted to your light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta and transferred to your accommodation.

The rest of the day will be spent at leisure.

Okavango Delta

For the next few days you’ll head on morning and afternoon game drives searching for lion, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird. You can also go birding and on guided nature walks.

Continue to enjoy morning and afternoon game drives searching for lion, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird.

This morning, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to your next accommodation.

For the next two days, embark on morning and afternoon game drives searching for wildlife including rare roan and sable antelope. After a day in the wild, enjoy sundowners on the Queen Sylvia barge and time out at the unique underground hide.

Continue to head on morning and afternoon game drives followed by sundowners.

This morning you’ll fly to Kasane where you’ll be transferred across the border to Livingstone, Zambia, the home of Victoria Falls.

Thorntree River Lodge is situated in Zambia’s Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Along with a visit to the world’s most famous waterfall, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a sunset river cruise, fishing and rhino tracking. You’ll also visit a local village and stop at the Livingstone Museum.

Livingstone (Victoria Falls)

Today will be spent at leisure.

Today you’ll fly into Cape Town and be escorted to your accommodation.

The rest of the day will be spent at your leisure.

Private Full Day Peninsula Tour

In the morning, you’ll visit Table Mountain National Park with its unique Cape fynbos vegetation and birds such as African black oystercatchers and Cape sugarbirds. Climb (or ride the world’s first environmentally friendly funicular) to Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the vistas of False Bay.

In the afternoon, head to Boulders Beach to see the local colony of African penguins, and drive back through the naval village of Simonstown, over scenic Boyes Drive, and passing by Kalk Bay, St. James and Muizenberg.

Round off your day with a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Explore Cape Winelands in the nearby Boland Mountains and learn about historic towns, exquisite wines and gastronomic wonders.

Visit South Africa’s culinary capital, Franschhoek, founded by French Huguenots over 350 years ago, and Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second-oldest town, for a glimpse of classic 17th century Cape style. Browse Dorp Street and the museums, galleries and shops.
