From otherworldly rock formations and the largest living lemur species, to the iconic avenue of Baobabs and tranquil marine settings within the Nosy Be archipelago, prepare to witness all you could hope for when visiting Madagascar.”

Day 1
Arrival Antananarivo
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted and escorted by car to your accommodation in Antananarivo, known locally as Tana.
The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure.

Day 2
Antananarivo – Andasibe
After breakfast, you’ll set off on the four-hour drive to Andasibe, a rainforest park divided into two protected areas: Mantadia National Park and Perinet Reserve. Along the way, catch a glimpse of rural Madagascan life.
After checking into your hotel and eating lunch, visit VOI, a local community-run park where you can see various species of lemur, plus chameleons and birds.

Day 3
Andasibe (Mantadia National Park)
Today, you’ll visit the Mantadia National Park. While some of the hiking can be challenging, you’ll have the opportunity to see several lemur species, including the diademed sifaka, grey bamboo lemur, red-bellied lemur and white ruffed lemur, along with a number of rare and endemic birds such as the scaly ground roller, the pitta-like ground roller and the breasted coua. You’ll also enjoy a picnic lunch by Rianasoa Waterfall.
In the evening, enjoy an optional guided night walk.

Day 4
Andasibe (Perinet Reserve) – Antananarivo
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Perinet Reserve in search of the indri indri, one of the world’s largest lemurs as well as one of the most endangered.
The park is home to another 11 species of lemur and many endemic bird species, including the velvet asity, the blue coua and the nuthatch vanga.
Enjoy lunch back at camp before returning to Tana.

Day 5
Antananarivo – Tsingy de Bemaraha
This morning, your private charter flight will take you from Ivato Airport to Amborondia airstrip, where you’ll be greeted and escorted to your accommodation in Tsingy de Bemaraha.
After lunch at your hotel, visit Petit Tsingy for a guided hike through the otherworldly landscape, home to 53 bird species and 6 species of lemur. There’s a choice of hikes depending on your fitness level.

Day 6
Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park
Enjoy an adventurous day exploring Grand Tsingy in the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. The trail includes crossing a high-rope bridge and traversing unique landscapes to the Tsingy – a forest of limestone peaks protected by UNESCO. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for 11 lemur species, over 100 bird species, and an array of bats, reptiles and amphibians.

Day 7
Tsingy de Bemaraha – Morondava
This morning you’ll be transferred back to the Amborondia airstrip for a flight to Morondava located in Sakalava territory, which is renowned for its elaborately carved royal wooden tombs.
After an afternoon at leisure, enjoy sunset at the world-famous Avenue of the Baobabs.

Day 8
Morondava – Isalo
This morning, you’ll catch a private charter flight to Isalo, where you’ll be greeted and driven to your hotel.
Located in the southern highlands of Madagascar, the park is renowned for its unique landscapes with deep canyons, and abundant flora and fauna.
Check into your accommodation and enjoy some leisure time.

Day 9
Isalo National Park
After breakfast, you’ll head into the national park for a full-day guided excursion. You’ll have a choice of routes to explore the diverse landscapes while watching for around 80 bird species, reptiles, endemic frogs and several species of lemur.

Day 10
Isalo – Zombitse National Park – Isalo – Antananarivo
After breakfast, you’ll head to Zombitse National Park for a two-hour guided hike through the forest. The park is a birdwatcher’s delight as it’s home to the Appert’s greenbul, a rare endemic species that only lives here.
You’ll be returned to Isalo to catch your charter flight to Tana. Check into your hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.
