Jashita Hotel

Yucatan Peninsula

Set on a private stretch of Soliman Bay, Mexico, Jashita Hotel is 15 minutes north of Tulum town and 50 minutes from Tulum Airport. Protected by an offshore coral reef, the bay’s calm waters are perfect for swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding. With just 30 suites across two hectares, the atmosphere is intimate and relaxed. The hotel also operates two private villas around 10 minutes away (with three more in development), giving guests the option of more seclusion while still enjoying full access to the hotel’s facilities. Sustainability measures include a desalination plant, plastic-free operations, and a nature preservation initiative.

Accommodation

Thirty airy suites range from garden-view Standard Rooms to ocean-view Superior Deluxe and Honeymoon Suites. All but the Waterfront Suites have private plunge pools, and every room features premium linens, Bose speakers, Nespresso machines and large glass doors that open onto private terraces. The Penthouse includes two bedrooms, a rooftop pool, bar, butler and barman.

Food & Drink

Pandano Restaurant blends Mediterranean and Mexican flavours with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. Guests can enjoy breakfast overlooking the bay, seafood lunches in the open air, and cocktails from the beachfront bar.

Experiences

The calm bay invites hours of snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding, with complimentary equipment provided. The Adventure Shack can arrange excursions to nearby cenotes, Mayan ruins, or offshore dive sites. On land, explore the Tulum ruins, Chichen Itza, Coba, and the Jaguar Reserve. Yoga and spa treatments are also available on site.

Children

While Tulum is not typically considered a family destination, Jashita welcomes children, with a maximum of five under-fives allowed on the property (outside of festive periods). There’s a kids’ pool and babysitting can be arranged on request. There is no kids’ club or dedicated menu.

Sustainability

The hotel is plastic-free and self-sufficient in water through its desalination plant. Initiatives include beach clean-ups, nature preservation projects, and sustainable fishing practices in its restaurant.

Best Time to Visit

The most popular months are November to May for warm, dry weather and calm seas. The summer months bring hotter temperatures and occasional tropical showers.

How to Get There

Jashita is a 50-minute drive from Tulum Airport and 1.5 hours from Cancun International Airport. Private transfers can be arranged.
