Accommodation
Aqua Mare features seven individually designed suites, including an 80 sqm Owner’s Suite complete with a king-sized bed, sofa bed, and Pullman. Interiors by yacht designer François Zuretti include walnut-veneer walls and marble bathrooms. All suites offer generous living space and ocean-facing portholes or windows, and several can accommodate additional guests.
Food and Drink
Dining is relaxed yet refined, with meals served across multiple indoor and outdoor settings including the dining salon, sun deck and family-style alfresco table. The culinary programme, created by acclaimed Peruvian chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, highlights local Ecuadorian ingredients and Nikkei flavours - a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine.
Activities
Each day includes morning and afternoon excursions led by expert guides - think snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, guided hikes and close-up wildlife encounters. Onboard, guests can enjoy evening briefings and occasional lectures on the Galapagos Islands, or unwind with a film or book in the lounge.
Children
Children aged five and above are welcome onboard, making this a fitting choice for a luxury family holiday to the Galapagos.
How to Get There
Guests will be welcomed at Seymour Airport on Baltra Island, one of the main gateways to the Galapagos. They will then be privately transferred to the location where Aqua Mare is docked. Daily direct flights from Quito and Guayaquil are available.
