Head of Americas & Polar RegionsOlie’s passion for all things Latin American was ignited by an extensive trip to the region pre-university where he studied Spanish and Latin American studies. Post-graduation, working in travel seemed like an obvious progression – and a great way to have the opportunity to visit South America again in the future!
Olie spent over ten years working for leading UK tailor-made tour operators, exploring the Americas Region on holidays and fact-finding trips, and voyaging to Antarctica in 2013. He also visited Svalbard in the Arctic circle in 2015 to spot polar bears aboard an expedition ship (he saw seven polar bears, Blue whales and walrus!).
In 2014, Olie moved to Singapore and joined Lightfoot Travel which gave him the chance to explore new destinations and cultures in Asia. In 2017 he relocated back to the UK where he continues to share his superb first-hand knowledge and flair for exciting bespoke holidays to The Americas and the Polar regions.
