The Atlas MountainsA magical walled complex in the Atlas Mountains, Kasbah Tamadot is a luxury oasis close to Asni. Acquired by Sir Richard Branson in 1998, this hideaway offers landscaped gardens, tranquil courtyards and superb views, along with impeccable service and first-class amenities.
The intimate complex has 28 guestrooms and suites, including 10 luxury Berber tents. Rooms are individually decorated with vibrant textiles, intricate detailing and Moroccan antiques. All rooms have a private balcony or terrace, while several of the Berber tents include private plunge pools and the Master Suite has a large terrace with private pool.
Kanoun Restaurant offers Moroccan, African and international cuisine. Guests can also enjoy hearty Berber feasts.
With two swimming pools, spa treatments, tennis courts, cookery classes and an open-air cinema, leaving the resort can be hard. But venture out, and you’ll find trekking, horse riding, hot air ballooning and golf amongst the many activities here.

Location & Getting There
Located at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Kasbah Tamadot is about one hour's drive from the centre of Marrakech, Morocco. For Guests arriving from the Marrakech’s Menara Airport, it takes about a 45 minutes drive.
Accommodations
Kasbah Tamadot has a total of 27 bedrooms and suites, including 9 luxury Berber Tents, each well furnished with traditional Moroccan decor and antiques. Each room is personalised with its own Berber name. Perfect for the more adventurous, the berber tents are equipped with a private deck with sun loungers and a space for outdoor dining. Five luxurious suites are also equipped with their own private Jacuzzi. The master suite which comprises a large terrace and private pool is a renowned and intricate architectural beauty itself. It offers a spectacular view complete with a private pool, interconnected rooms and a huge roof terrace.
Activities
Cooking aficionados must indulge in a class with the chef. Excursions with a scenic drive through to Marrakech or simply visit the Tin Mal Mosque and the village of Ouirgane are also a must. For golf lovers, there is a Royal Golf Course, Amelkis Golf Course and Palmeraie Golf Course located. Sports facilities such as tennis, ping pong and trekking tours are also available. Mule trekking along the high Atlas mountains is a highlight, followed by awell-deserved treatment at the hotel's spa.
