Wild Adventure in Costa Rica

Arrival San Jose
Upon arrival at San Jose, you’ll be escorted by car to your accommodation.
The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure.
Day 2
Day 2
Pacuare
Your wild adventure in Costa Rica begins with a journey into the rainforest at Pacuare.
Passing the old capital of Cartago you’ll arrive in Turrialba and after a thorough brief, start your one-hour rafting trip (grade II&III) to Pacuare Lodge.
Check-in and enjoy a candlelit dinner.
Day 3,4

Pacuare
The next two days will be spent exploring Pacuare Rainforest at leisure.
Spend a full day discovering all this fabulous lodge has to offer. Immerse yourself in the pristine rainforest surroundings and enjoy the wide range of activities and unique experiences available; hike ancient trails to hidden waterfalls, explore the forest canopy or perhaps dine in the treetops.

Pacuare - Arenal Volcano National Park
Leave Pacuare on a 3.5-hour rafting adventure (grade III-IV rapids) to Siquirres, where you have time for refreshments before departing to La Fortuna de San Carlos.

Arenal Volcano National Park – Mistico Nature Reserve
Start your day with a boat trip into the Arenal Volcano National Park, where you’ll enjoy incredible views of the cone-shaped volcano and wander round Arenal Lake, a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers.
After lunch, it’s off to the Mistico Nature Reserve. You’ll have a guided tour of the tangled rainforest and enjoy magnificent views from the famous hanging bridges.

Sky Tram & Sky Trek
Start the day with a half-day adventure. After a ten-minute journey by Sky Tram to the top of the Arenal Reserve, enjoy a Sky Trek tour among the treetops, with views over the volcano and lake.
After lunch, explore the area at leisure or soak in the natural hot springs.

Papagayo Peninsula
Today, you have a private transfer from Arenal to the Papagayo Peninsula, where you can check in and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Day 9-11

Papagayo Gulf
Enjoy a full-day sailing and snorkelling trip in the Papagayo Gulf with Kuna Vela. Discover fine white-sand beaches, enjoy a succulent seafood lunch, and see spectacular marine wildlife, including whales, dolphins, manta rays, and turtles.

Departure
Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
