A few hours' drive east from Phuket, the quieter beaches in and around Krabi make a nice epilogue to an extended beach break.

Krabi’s quiet atmosphere and proximity to more idyllic beaches make it an ideal transitionary point from which to make your way to Si Kao, Koh Lanta or Koh Phi Phi. Its turqoise waters to the north are peppered with limestone cliffs, a stunning backdrop for those who stay a night or two.

Beaches on Lanta’s western shores are soft and silky and we highly recommend making the drive down here from Krabi as there are a still a couple of spots which you can still take bragging rights to a “we were the only people on the beach” holiday.
