Al Maha Resort & Spa is a splendid desert retreat some 65km southeast of Dubai carrying an ‘old Arabia’ theme throughout the rooms in a building that is modelled on an old fortress.

The 42 rooms are in the form of stand-alone ‘tents’ featuring sublime furnishings and authentic Arabian and Bedouin ornaments such as wooden chests, Arabian antiques, and Oriental carpets.
