Victoria House Resort & Spa in Belize is perched at the edge of one of the most stunning natural wonders of the world, the Belize Barrier Reef. Guests can embark on a variety of adventures, from exploring Mayan ruins to diving in the world-renowned Great Blue Hole.

The property offers 42 beachfront rooms, suites and multi-room villas, and is perfect for couples and families. Each one features handcrafted mahogany furniture and chaise lounge. The latest addition to Victoria House is the Infinity section, housing three villas and four suites, as well as a tranquil infinity pool.

Victoria House has two pools for guests to choose from. Set within extensive gardens, the infinity pool and beachfront pool and patio are ideal spots in which to relax while tucking into lobster tacos.

Palmilla Restaurant serves gourmet cuisine using local ingredients, while Admiral Nelson’s Beach Bar offers casual Belizean bites and refreshing cocktails right on the sand.

Set with a Caribbean colonial theme, the 3,500 square foot spa offers 36 different body treatments.

Location & Getting There

Guests can get to Victoria House by hopping on a 15-minute flight from Philip Goldson Airport in Belize City. Alternatively, opt for a 90-minute boat transfer from Belize City, and continue with a taxi to Victoria House.

Accommodation

There are 42 beachfront rooms, ranging from rooms, casitas, suites to villas. The casitas feature a thatched roof and a private veranda where guests can lounge on the hammock and take in the sights and sounds of the Caribbean. Guests booked into the casitas can take advantage of the complimentary bicycle and kayak rental services to explore the resort’s grounds. For larger parties, the 5000 square foot villas with up to five bedrooms will more than satisfy those looking for spacious accommodation. Villas come with private pools overlooking the beach and barrier reef.

Activities

Victoria House comes with a fitness centre and yoga sessions. The spa is highly recommended for those looking to unwind. It’s the perfect base for scuba diving and snorkelling he Belize Barrier Reef, as well as exploring the underwater world of Ambergris Caye. Ancient Mayan temples and caves are nearby.
