The Lakehouse

Set in the ‘Valley of Eternal Spring’, The Lakehouse is a Tudor-style country house in the Cameron Highlands. Swathed in lush woodland with views over hills and the Sultan Abu Bakar Lake, this colonial gem reflects the charm of a bygone era.

The 19 luxurious rooms and suites are decorated in colonial style with antique furniture, four-poster beds, wooden ceiling beams, and traditional textiles. The spacious Foster Suite comes with a log fireplace and huge bathroom with sunken bath and walk-in wardrobe.

The restaurant offers a taste of the Old World accompanied by a fine wine list, while the Lakeview Terrace serves English scones and traditional afternoon tea. There are also two lounges, plus a bar serving a selection of Scottish whiskies.

Try your hand at making traditional strawberry jam, take a mojito-making class, join a jungle trek and tour, or enjoy a traditional picnic in the grounds.
