4 Nights in Yangon and Bagan
Enjoy an introduction to the magic and beauty of Myanmar on this short but satisfying itinerary. Explore temples, discover local life, and step back in time with a stay at some of the country’s best colonial hotels.

Day 1
Arrive Yangon
Upon arrival in Yangon you’ll be met by your guide and privately transferred to your accommodation.
The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure.

Day 2
Yangon
After breakfast you’ll embark on a full day city tour of Yangon with your guide.
Explore the colonial downtown, harbour, colourful local markets and Sule Pagoda – the golden Burmese stupa said to be over 2,000 years old.
Star of the show is the Shwedagon Pagoda where you’ll receive a traditional blessing by three Buddhist monks. After visiting the reclining Buddha, you’ll get the chance to sample typical dishes from tribes from all over the country like Kachin, Shan and Rakhine.
Lastly, you’ll take the famous Circular Railway to Bogyoke Aung San market, before returning you to your hotel.

Day 3
Yangon - Bagan
This morning you’ll fly to Bagan.
Your full day tour by car will take you to see some of the most stunning temples the region has to offer. Start the day climbing a pagoda to get a first impressive view over the whole area. From here the guide plans his way to some of the other amazing temples that have been here for hundreds of years. Places like the Ananda, Dhammayangyi, Sulamani, and Thatbyinnyu will certainly impress you.
You’ll continue your journey on horse and cart to sunset hill for drinks, before heading back to your accommodation.

Day 4
Bagan
Early this morning before sunrise you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to the launch site for a spectacular hot air balloon ride over the temple zone in Bagan.
Afterwards, you’ll be driven to the village of Nyaung Gyi to see a blacksmith at work, before following the road to Se Ywa village to visit the local workshops that specialise in plum purification, cooking oil and wooden slippers.Your last village stop is Taung Kong, where most of the locals are farmers or potters.

Day 5
Bagan - Yangon - Departure
This morning you’ll explore a forgotten part of Bagan, Minnanthu temple.
After a picnic you’ll explore other deserted temples in the area before returning to Yangon for a bite to eat at Le Planteur Restaurant.
You’ll then be escorted to onto the airport for your flight home.
