Now that's what you call a room with a view...
The glittering 1-Altitude that's found at the top of One Raffles Place is on everyone’s radar when it comes to rooftop bars. Get ready to hit the dance the night away to the inhouse DJ's tunes or relax with one of the bar's signature cocktails, the vodka-based Pink Floyd and soak in the spectacular 360-degree view of the skyline.
If you want that beach bar vibe in the city, check out Bar Canary on Orchard Road. Kick off your shoes and sink into one of its bright yellow beanbags and sofas that can be found by the pool. Not summery enough for you? Then order one of its Boozy Pops, such as The Exotic Escape, which is a tequila-infused dragonfruit popsicle. Delish.
Which bar? Oh that bar! If you want to take the perfect finale shot for your Hollywood movie or trip, head to Ce La Vi on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands. Open from noon till past midnight, this rooftop bar transitions into a club when the sun goes down with local and international DJs. Enjoy panaromic views of the bustling city and famed infinity pool, while enjoy the vodka, pineapple and basil blend that is a Thai Breeze.
Known as the highest microbrewery in the world, LeVel33 serves up bespoke craft beers while offering you a dazzling view of Marina Bay. Look out over Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer and Gardens by the Bay as you enjoy one of their signature brews. A favourite with visitors is the 33.1 Blond Lager, which is a full-bodied beverage with a tiny hint of fruit.
Loof is Singapore’s first standalone rooftop bar. While not as high up as 1-Altitiude or CÉ LA VI, Loof still delivers a divine view of Singapore’s skyscrapers. The neon signs and tropical plants scattered around the rooftop make for a lively, and more casual scene. Enjoy its Southeast Asian take on cocktails such as their Little Pink Dot that contains marshmallow gin, raspberry liqueur and yuzu.
