The Ocean Club, Four Seasons

Bahamas

Since opening in 1962, The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, has been one of the Bahamas’ most celebrated addresses. Set along eight kilometres of white-sand beach on Paradise Island, the resort is surrounded by 35 acres of formal gardens and low-rise colonial-style buildings. Guests can begin their day with breakfast on private terraces, unwind in the spa’s Balinese-style villas or play a round at the Ocean Club Golf Course before sunset cocktails at the Martini Bar. With its beachfront setting and wide range of experiences, The Ocean Club is an exceptional choice for a luxury holiday to the Bahamas.

Accommodation

The property's accomodation is designed to feel like an elegant private home, offering a mix of ocean-view rooms, garden suites, airy bungalows, and expansive residential-style villas. Many suites feature spacious balconies or patios, while the villas provide generous living areas, fully equipped kitchens and private infinity pools, ideal for families or longer stays.

Food & drink

Dining at The Ocean Club is led by DUNE by Jean-Georges, where global flavours meet Bahamian ingredients in an oceanfront setting. Guests can also enjoy poolside lunches, intimate beach dinners, and 24-hour in-room dining, followed by drinks at the Martini Bar & Lounge.

Activities

Beyond the beach, the resort offers a wide range of experiences, from complimentary non-motorised water sports to yacht charters, scuba diving and seaplane excursions. Golfers and tennis players benefit from world-class facilities, while the award-winning spa provides an extensive menu of treatments for deep relaxation. Families are well catered for with a dedicated children’s club and access to the nearby Atlantis water park.

Sustainability

Four Seasons is committed to responsible operations through its Four Seasons for Good programme, supporting environmental protection and community development across all destinations. The group focuses on reducing waste, supporting ethical suppliers and promoting sustainable food production. Strong investment in local employment and leadership development ensures lasting positive impact.

Children

Children are warmly welcomed, with family-friendly accommodation, a kids' club and family-friendly activities. Children under four dine free at select restaurants, making it an excellent option for a luxury family holiday to the Bahamas.

Best time to go

December to April offers the most reliable weather and is peak season, while May and early June provide excellent value with fewer crowds. September and October are the quietest and most affordable months but fall within the Atlantic hurricane season.

How to get there

Fly into Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport. The resort is located on Paradise Island, approximately 40 minutes by private transfer from the airport.

Why we recommend The Ocean Club, Four Seasons

Once a private estate for international royalty and Hollywood’s elite, the property still carries the air of a grand colonial manor, framed by Versailles-inspired gardens and one of Paradise Island’s most beautiful beaches. Its cinematic history, with scenes from Casino Royale, adds to the atmosphere and sense of occasion that few resorts can match.
