Enasoit Camp

Located in the Laikipia Highlands, Enasoit Camp is an exclusive-use safari camp set on a private 4,500-acre conservancy, with access to an adjoining 50,000-acre reserve. Originally built as a family retreat, the camp offers a warm, personalised experience in a spectacular setting, with a busy waterhole attracting wildlife right in front of camp. Accommodation

The camp features six tented cottages and one two-bedroom family tent, all set around the waterhole and designed with fireplaces, verandas, and en-suite bathrooms. The nearby Pool House offers two additional thatched cottages, a swimming pool and garden lounge – ideal for larger groups.

Food & Drink

Meals are tailored and served in different locations depending on the day’s activities – from relaxed bush breakfasts to candlelit dinners under the stars. Fresh ingredients are sourced from the on-site vegetable garden, with menus shaped around guest preferences.

Activities

Included activities range from day and night game drives, guided bush walks and horseback safaris, to birdwatching, massages, and sundowners in scenic spots. Families can also enjoy mountain biking, croquet, or taking part in the Junior Warrior Programme, designed to introduce children to bushcraft and local culture. Additional experiences such as helicopter excursions, rhino tracking or Maasai cultural visits can be arranged.

Children

Enasoit welcomes children of all ages and is especially well-suited for families. The camp offers flexible accommodation, child-friendly menus, and a dedicated Junior Warrior Programme with hands-on bush activities and cultural crafts.

Best Time to Go

The best time to visit is between July and October, during Kenya’s cool dry season, when wildlife sightings are excellent and the weather is ideal for outdoor activities.

How to Get There

Guests can fly from Nairobi to Enasoit’s private airstrip (45-minute flight followed by a 5-minute drive). Alternatively, scheduled flights to Nanyuki followed by a 1-hour road transfer are also available. Helicopters may land directly at camp.
