Rock climbing is available for beginners and others that are more demanding for experienced climbers

High-mountain ascents with a guide can be organised for the most adventurous explorers. The ascent to Cerro Madsen, in the Fitz Roy area, is a perfect challenge for beginners or for those who want to make their first summit in Patagonia and be rewarded with one of the most wonderful views in the world.

Accommodation

There are 20 rooms at the lodge, including 17 standard rooms and 3 suites. Each room at the El Chaltén Lodge is designed as a place to rest and recharge after a busy day of exploring with luxurious amenities and sumptuous beds.
