Tenaya Lodge

Located just outside Yosemite National Park’s south gate, Tenaya Lodge is an award-winning resort set within 50 acres of dense forest. Designed like a grand mountain chalet, this stone-and-wood lodge has some of the best leisure and dining facilities in the park, while its location offers seclusion from the large summer crowds.

Tenaya Lodge has over 300 guestrooms, suites, and cottages, along with some new two-bed Explorer cabins opening in summer 2019. The comfortable rooms have simple, rustic décor with seating areas and writing desks. The cottages and cabins offer privacy for families and groups and private outdoor seating areas.

There are four restaurants offering cuisine from grills to fine dining and Italian favorites.

Activities include hiking trails, nature walks, horse riding, and ATV and jeep tours. Lack of light pollution makes it a dream for astronomers, while an ice rink and sledding hill ensure the fun continues during winter.
