Family Adventure in Tanzania

Day 1

Arrival Arusha

Upon arrival you’ll be met by your guide and escorted to your accommodation.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Today you’ll be transferred by car to your next accommodation.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most famous wildlife areas in the world boasting over 25,000 large animals, including black rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebra, eland, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles, lion, leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, hyenas and huge herds of buffalo. There are also over 500 species of birds.

For the next few days you’ll embark on family game drives to witness these incredible creatures. Cycling, visits to the farm, and tours of coffee plantations, towns and villages will also be available.  

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Spend the day on family game drives, cycling, visiting the farm, or touring the coffee plantations, towns and local villages.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 5

Serengeti National Park

This morning you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival you’ll be escorted to your accommodation.

The Serengeti is one of the most famous wildlife areas in the world and home to the annual wildebeest migration.

Here you can head on family game drives to witness this incredible spectacle during the months of July to October in the Northern Serengeti. Out of season, you can see abundant resident wildlife amongst the grassland plains, open savannah, riverine forests and woodlands, such as zebra, topi, impala, buffalo and giraffe. Lion and leopard are rarely far away.

Don’t miss experiencing a hot-air balloon flight at sunrise.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park

Spend the day enjoying the national park.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park

Day 8

Zanzibar

You’ll take a light aircraft to Zanzibar where you’ll be transferred to your accommodation.

Home to the Zanzibar red colobus monkey, one of Africa's rarest primates, bush pigs, small antelope, civets, mongoose and a wide variety of birdlife and butterflies, there’s plenty of wildlife to see here.

You can also enjoy the beautiful beaches, and an array of family-friendly activities such as turtle conservation. You can also go dolphin and whale watching, snorkelling, diving, and kitesurfing.

Day 9

Zanzibar

Spend the day at leisure exploring beautiful Zanzibar.

Zanzibar

Spend the day at leisure exploring beautiful Zanzibar.

Day 11

Departure

You’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
