Hospes Palacio de los Patos

Andalucia

Hospes Palacio de los Patos is a renovated 19th-century palace juxtaposed with a modern alabaster-and-glass wing. Surrounded by lush gardens, this hotel sits just outside the old town, within easy walking distance of the Alhambra and Granada’s historical quarters.

There are 42 guestrooms and suites divided between the two buildings. Those in the palace are a striking combination of lofty ceilings, Doric columns, ornate fireplaces, and traditional shuttered windows, with designer chaise longues, funky lighting, and monochrome rugs. The rooms in the wing are more minimalistic, yet equally as eye-catching.

Los Patos Restaurant offers cuisine using traditional Andalusian ingredients and innovative techniques from around the globe. Dine in the elegant restaurant or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens.

After a day wandering around the exquisite Alhambra, exploring the old quarters of Albayzin and Realejo, and marveling at the cathedral, head to the indulgent spa for a purifying Ritual of the Orient treatment.

Why we recommend Hospes Palacio de los Patos

Hospes Palacio de los Patos is Granada’s most stylish luxury hotel with beautiful gardens, a fine restaurant, and some sumptuous rooms. Those in the older part of the hotel have more soul to them,  including plasterwork ceilings and ornate friezes. Junior Suite 40 has a particularly lovely silver-great domed ceiling and an impressive marble-clad bathtub. The rooms in the wing are more minimalistic, yet equally as eye-catching.
