Amalfi CoastIn the small town of Praiano, between Amalfi and Positano, the Casa Angelina hotel was one of the first real design hotels to open along the Amalfi coast.
Sleek and stylish, Casa Angelina comes with contemporary paintings, sculptures, and Murano glass pieces softening the crisp minimalist vibe. The 43 rooms and suites are located in two buildings, many with terraces overlooking the sea. In addition, self-catering options are provided in four converted fishermen’s cottages.
On the hotel’s top floor, the restaurant at Casa Angelina is called Un Piano Nel Cielo, meaning ‘a floor in the sky’. As you’d expect, the views from here across to Capri are sensational, both from the terrace and through the restaurant’s huge windows.
The Marrakech Bar specializes in mojitos and has a cliff-edge terrace. Alternatively, take your drink on the outdoor pool’s sundeck, where snacks and light meals are also served.
The hotel also has an indoor hydrotherapy pool.

The hotel is situated in the small town of Praiano, between Amalfi and Positano, a 20-minute drive from Naples' Capodichino International Airport.

Casa Angelina has 43 rooms and suites in two buildings, many with terraces overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and the Amalfi Coast itself. The Junior suite and Grand De Luxe possess a private terrace with views of the charming village of Positano and the sun setting behind the romantic island of Capri. The two Terrace rooms are ideal for those who love the outdoors, with luxurious terraces that boast sun loungers and overlook the azure Mediterranean and Capri in the distance. The Relaxing, Romantic, Canopy, Classic, and Single rooms all offer lovely balconies and well-lit work desks catered for different types of travelers. Lastly, the Eaudesea rooms offer the most luxurious experience with an exclusive location by the picturesque beach of La Gavitella, buffet breakfast, all-day-long butler service, and free access to all the hotel's facilities.

Take a stroll around charming Positano, go shopping, experience the local nightlife of the famed Amalfi Coast, or visit the beautiful beaches of Marina Grande, Fornillo, and Laurito. Casa Angelina is a beautiful and sophisticated property that feels like a place for adults, but children under 10 are welcome (just in low season only). The hotel’s sleek, modern exterior is mirrored by its décor inside; white is very much the dominant color throughout. Unusually for the Amalfi coast, La Gavitella beach, directly below Casa Angelina, faces west which means that its restaurant and bar still bask in the evening sunshine long after others are in the shade.
