The Margaret River region is located in Western Australia. Known for its wineries and stunning scenery, this region is the perfect place for a luxurious walking tour. Along the Cape to Cape track you will also experience the region’s succulent gastronomy and quality wines during this 10 day holiday from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin.
Upon arrival in Perth you’ll be met by a representative who’ll privately escort you to your accommodation.
The remainder of the day will be at your leisure.
Today is free for you to spend at your leisure.
Your hotel is within easy walking distance to the City of Perth’s modern new library, St George’s Cathedral, shopping malls, the Swan River and its new waterfront precinct, Elizabeth Quay.
Alternatively, reside at the hotel and enjoy the Shambhala spa’s massages, facials and scrubs; dive into the 20-metre indoor lap pool; or take part in a yoga class. The many eateries here are also top quality.
Perth - Bunker Bay
In the morning you’ll be driven to Bunker Bay.
The afternoon can be spent exploring your surroundings. Enjoy the Bunker Bay beach or the resort’s pool, fitness facilities and spa.
In the evening over dinner you’ll be briefed on your walk the following day.
Walk to Sugarloaf Rock
Start you day with a 6km walk to Sugarloaf Rock.
You’ll be picked up and escorted back to your hotel for dinner.
In the afternoon you’ll be free to enjoy Smiths Beach and the resort’s facilities before tucking into a gourmet BBQ dinner.
Injidup Beach - Smith’s Beach Resort
Today you’ll walk approximately 6.75km from Injidup beach back to your hotel along the Cape to Cape track.
After lunch enjoy some downtime by the pool or in the resort’s spa.
Dinner at the resort will be accompanied by a private wine tasting.
Walk from Moses Rock to Wilyabrup
This morning you’ll be driven to Moses Rock where you’ll walk roughly 6.8km to Wilyabrup.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy lunch back at the hotel and an afternoon of leisure.
This is the time to go horse riding, cave exploring or whale watching.
If you don’t want to walk today, spend the day shopping in Margaret River town or taking a tour of Margaret River.
Walk from Redgate Beach to Boranup Drive
After breakfast you’ll head to Redgate Beach and walk 12km to Boranup Drive.
Afterwards you’ll return to your hotel for lunch and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure.
Tonight, indulge in an in-villa four course dinner made by your own private chef.
Walk from Augusta Cliffs to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse
Walk the 9km from Augusta Cliffs to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.
Upon arrival you’ll be picked up and escorted to the Leeuwin Estate for an exclusive four course tasting menu with paired wines.
In the afternoon take a scenic helicopter tour of the area.
Injidup Spa Retreat
After breakfast treat your weary legs to a massage in the resort’s spa.
Lunch will be a private gourmet BBQ overlooking the ocean and the afternoon is free for you to do as little or as much as you please.
Your Lightfoot Travel Designer will be able to advise on activities prior to departure.
Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
