Silky Oaks Lodge

Queensland

The Silky Oaks Lodge and Healing Waters Spa is a luxury eco-lodge enveloped by the UNESCO-listed Daintree Rainforest in Queensland, close to the Great Barrier Reef. Located on the banks of the Mossman River, it’s designed to blend with its surroundings.

Stay in one of the treehouses and suites, built from local hardwood and hidden within the rainforest canopy with views over the river, rainforest, or tropical gardens. Each of the elegantly furnished rooms has full-height windows, a balcony with hammock, and bathrooms with spa baths.

The Treehouse Restaurant serves tropical produce, fusing Australian flavors with European and Asian cooking styles. Dinner is served high in the rainforest canopy with river panoramas.

Spend your days exploring the rainforest on foot, by boat or with a 4WD, meet indigenous tribes, and visit nearby Port Douglas, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Then unwind with a treatment in the Healing Waters Spa.
