Kariega Settlers Drift Luxury Tented Lodge

Set in a remote corner of the Kariega wilderness overlooking the Bushman’s River, Kariega Settlers Drift is a luxury tented camp in a private, wildlife-rich reserve. Tucked amongst green hills with panoramic views over the valley, it offers a base for observing the abundant wildlife that roams freely.

The nine tented suites are spacious and opulent, each with large bedroom, living room and indoor-outdoor bathroom with shower and freestanding bathtub. There’s a log burner, private viewing deck with daybeds, and the tented sides open to blur the boundaries between inside and out.

The main lodge has an infinity pool, bar, viewing deck with boma, and restaurant serving gourmet cuisine and free-flowing wine.

Twice-daily game drives are included, along with walking safaris, birdwatching, fishing, canoeing and river cruises. After a day in the wilderness, unwind with a Kariega Spa Journey treatment, then head to the boma to watch the night sky.
