Okonjima Lodge

Midway between Windhoek and Etosha National Park, Okonjima Nature Reserve is tucked at the base of Omboroko Mountains. Home of the AfriCat Foundation, the family-run Okonjima Lodge offers a base to experience cheetahs, leopards and other big cats in their natural environment.

There’s a variety of accommodation, ranging from simple campsites to luxury safari tents and a boutique-style villa. The only accommodation within the reserve, Okonjima Villa houses four en-suite rooms, and can be booked as a single unit for a family or group of friends.

Just outside the reserve, the Select Private Bush Suite is a cottage accommodating four people, while the Luxury Bush Camp houses eight thatched chalets with views over the savannah.

Spend your days tracking cheetahs on foot, driving in search of leopards, hiking nature trails, birdwatching and biking. All accommodation has a swimming pool and meals are provided. The Villa and Private Bush Suite benefits from a private chef.
