Colpa Lodge

Cusco, Sacred Valley, & Machu Picchu

Perched on a promontory at the confluence of three rivers, Colpa Lodge is surrounded by lush cloud forest and backed by mountains. Run by Mountain Lodges of Peru, this eco-lodge is one of four lodges offering accommodation along the Salkantay Trail ending at Machu Picchu.

Inspired by Incan building techniques, Colpa Lodge has six private double rooms, each of which can accommodate up to four people. The rooms have down comforters and quality linens, and en suites with hot showers and organic toiletries.

The Salkantay Trail lodges are designed to provide creature comforts along a fairly challenging trekking route. Colpa Lodge has a reading room, lounge with fireplace, and outdoor Jacuzzi that’s bathed in afternoon sun with sublime valley views.

Upon arrival, guests are invited to participate in a traditional Pachamanca, a meal cooked over hot stones. You can also visit local hot springs and a village school.
