Banff, Jasper & the Canadian RockiesPerched alongside Hellamore Lake just 25 minutes’ drive from Clearwater, Alpine Meadows Resort is a rustic resort that offers an ideal base for those wishing to enjoy the great outdoors. Set in an area of stunning natural beauty, this acts as the gateway to the Wells Gray Provincial Park.
The resort offers 29 architect-designed log cabins, as well as RV sites and glamping tents. The simple cabins have large outdoor decks with alpine views, en suites with bath and shower combinations, comfortable living and dining areas, and fully equipped kitchenettes, while the larger cabins have full kitchens.
The Boathouse Restaurant serves West Coast-inspired cuisine complemented by fine BC wines and resort-inspired cocktails and martinis. Dine inside or on the picturesque lakeside patio.
There are abundant outdoor activities on offer here, from hiking, mountain biking, and paragliding, to horseback riding, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and bird and bear watching.
