The Pavilions Himalayas

Pokhara & Annapurna

Nestled in the natural paradise of a lushly forested valley against the backdrop of the majestic Himalayan mountain range, The Pavilions Himalayas is an eco-sensitive resort that gives back to the local community. Tasteful design marries with mod-cons and natural surrounds; the prayer wheels which line the wall at the entrance set the tone perfectly.

Here, 14 villas are divided into three grades with the main difference being the size. All get a private terrace, Himalayan views, shower and tub in the bathroom, Nepalese textiles and artworks, and a real fireplace. All are powered by solar and renewable energy.

Meals are served in the Bhetghat ('meeting point') and you have the choice of dining on the outside terrace. Organic produce is served from the resort farm as much as possible.

Life revolves around the Bhetghat which is next to a lovely infinity pool, and elsewhere there is plenty in the way of trekking and exploring to be done.

Why we recommend The Pavilions Himalayas

We’re big fans of this harmonious hideaway perched above Phewa Lake and surrounded by rice fields and the Annapurna Himalayas. Feel totally switched off from the world as you soak up the scenery in lush green surroundings, and stay in a uniquely designed villa crafted to capture the essence of the natural outdoors. After a day of hiking opt for a traditional therapy that uses mountain botanicals to help you feel refreshed.
