Rachamankha

Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai & the Golden Triangle

Set in the heart of old Chiang Mai city, Rachamankha is a handsome boutique hotel designed for a peaceful and intimate holiday. Spread over two acres of polished grounds, it's one of the five members of the Relais & Châteaux collection in Thailand. Rare for a city hotel, it’s much loved for its exclusivity and serene ambience.

The graceful rooms are comfortable and relaxed with antiques that look very much at home amidst lime plastered brick walls. The high ceilings give a feeling of space, and the modern amenities don’t feel intrusive against the heritage artefacts. The three suites here are huge and very soothing with spacious bathrooms.

The restaurant serves Thai and western dishes including a large selection of vegetarian offerings.

The 20-metre turquoise pool is set in its own courtyard surrounded by greenery and terracotta features. There’s also a spa, library and small boutique.

Inside, the décor is the perfect mix of raw silks, stripped floors and Asian art and antiques.
