Garden RouteGrootbos Forest Lodge is situated on the Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in the Gansbaai area. This multi-award winning reserve is home to protected Fynbos as well as the largest Milkwood Forests in the world and has won world wide acclaim for its conservation and social responsibility programmes.
The 16 freestanding one-bedroom suites are set in tranquil surroundings, connected by winding pathways through the ancient Milkwood Forest. Some of them are air-conditioned and the lounges are large enough to comfortably convert to an extra sleeping area. Decorated in a modern contemporary style, they comprise of a lounge with a fireplace, spacious bedrooms and finely appointed en suite bathrooms.
Meals here are planned to the finest detail. Only the freshest possible ingredients are used and the restaurant is home to stunning ocean views. You can also eat on the deck or indoors by the fire.
