Little Kulala
SossusvleiLittle Kulala has a stylish and intimate setting, close to the formidable beauty of the dunes. All of the 11 units blend seamlessly into the desert landscape, and each one comes with a private plunge pool, rooftop ‘skybed’, and both indoor and outdoor showers.
The interiors have been designed to reflect the colours of the desert – pure linens, cottons and mohair dyed with natural vegetable dyes, combined with the extensive use of neutral colours and the abundance of natural light.
Other facilities include an eating area, welcoming entertainment area, library, wine cellar, craft boutique, lounge, and a small plunge-style pool which is ideal to cool off in after a day exploring.
From Little Kulala, the usual desert-adapted wildlife can be seen including the spotted hyena and the occasional brown hyena. Nocturnal explorations can reveal dancing white lady spiders and Grant’s golden mole, a Namib Desert endemic.
For a different perspective, the balloon safari offers an awe-inspiring experience soaring above the desert.
