On this trip, you will be able to experience the lights and glamour of Tokyo. Take in visits to ancient shrines and temples, shopping, delicious Japanese food and a variety of unique city districts. After several days, you will be whisked away to Niseko, one of Japan’s premier skiing destinations. Spend a week on the slopes, relaxing in onsens, and enjoying the comfortable amenities of the amazing Kimamaya boutique hotel.

Day: 1 Arrive in Tokyo - Park Hyatt Tokyo

Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be met by an airport representative and transferred by limousine shuttle bus to the luxurious Park Hyatt Tokyo Hotel. This hotel is renowned for its spectacular views of the surrounding Tokyo landscape and Mount Fuji in the distance. Take the rest of the day to explore the hustle and bustle of the Shinjuku district.

Day: 2 Tokyo Half Day Tour - Park Hyatt Tokyo

This morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel and you will visit Akihabara, considered by many as the world’s most famous electric district, and is a vibrant and eccentric quarter, well known for the anime fans and electrical equipment maniacs.

Next you will visit Asakusa, part of Tokyo’s Shitamachi, or old town. Asakusa is home to the Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, and is also the city’s oldest Geisha district. The streets around Sensoji have many traditional shops selling Japanese crafts and souvenirs and are a delight to wander through.

Day: 3 Tokyo Half Day Tour - Park Hyatt Tokyo

Today your guide will meet you at your hotel and begin the day with some time to explore Meiji Shrine; Tokyo’s most famous shrine, dedicated to the spirit of the late Emperor Meiji.

Continue to Tokyo’s “Champs-Elysee” (Harajuku). This broad, tree lined avenue features a multitude of fashion flagship stores designed by internationally renowned architects within a short distance of each other.

In the evening, enjoy an elegant Japanese meal at the Park Hyatt’s famous Kozue restaurant. Views of Mount Fuji can be seen as you eat sashimi and sip on fine sake.

Day: 4 Tokyo Free and Easy

Your final full day in Tokyo can be spent at your own leisure. If you are in the mood for the ultimate relaxation experience, enjoy the extensive spa facilities at the Park Hyatt’s signature spa, Club on the Park.

A stop in Japan would not be complete without a shopping trip in the Ginza district. This exclusive district offers a high concentration of boutique shops and restaurants, with an electric atmosphere akin to Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

Day: 5 Tokyo to Niseko - Kimamaya

On this day, you will be transferred to Haneda Airport (30min) by your own private driver, where you will fly to Sapporo – Chitose Airport. Upon landing in Sapporo, you will take a private transfer to the Kimamaya in Niseko. Set in the middle of Niseko Hirafu, Japan’s renowned ski haven on the northern island of Hokkaido, this is a place where you will be welcomed as a friend into a private home. The exquisite rooms offer charm, comfort and a distinctly personal, cosy experience. Most of all, they capture the essence of the alpine atmosphere of Hokkaido with a cosmopolitan touch thrown in.

Day: 6 - 10 Skiing in Niseko - Kimamaya

With a yearly snowfall of over 1500 cm, you can expect to take advantage of premium snow conditions whether you are a skier or snowboarder. Take the next 5 days to maximize your time on the mountain and ride the amazing selection of runs at Niseko. Regardless of your skill level, Niseko has terrain that you can ride to challenge yourself and have a great time doing so.

After a long day on the slopes, unwind at the Kimamaya spa with a relaxing Japanese back massage, shiatsu, aromatherapy or full body massage. Alternatively, take a dip in an Onsen, the traditional Japanese take on a hot spring. These tranquil relaxation sessions will ease your body and charge you up for another day on the mountain.

Day: 11 Niseko to Tokyo

On your last day in Niseko, leave your luggage at Kimamaya after checking out. In the afternoon, we recommend heading to an onsen to freshen up and enjoy the facilities before your private shuttle picks you up at Kimamaya and transfers you to Chitose Airport  for your flight back to Tokyo.
