Ntemwa-Busanga Camp

Kafue

Ntemwa Busanga Camp is a classic thatched bush camp situated in a pristine wilderness area on the southern edge of the Busanga Plains in Kafue National Park. The simple yet charming camp is strategically positioned to offer unparalleled access to the diverse landscapes in this remote region of Zambia.

Guests staying here will encounter a remarkable variety of wildlife. There are regional treasures like the majestic roan antelope and graceful sable antelope. Thousands of red lechwe roam the plains, and herds of buffalo, numbering over 600, dominate the landscape. Wildebeest, zebra, lions, leopards, cheetahs and, in the late season, wild dogs exist.

Activities

Ntemwa-Busanga Plains Camp has access to a vast road network covering the expanse of the Busanga Plains and southern treelines. Zambia is one of the few places where night drives are permitted, and all our vehicles are equipped with spotlights and red filters. Perfect to spot nocturnal animals!

Accommodation

There are four thatched chalets (renovated in 2021), each with an open-air en-suite bathroom, flushing toilets, and traditional bucket showers (under the stars).

Guests are treated to expansive views from private outdoor decks and indoor/outdoor showers.

Children

Children older than 12 years are welcome.
