Hi Keira,

Thanks for your email! We had such a fabulous time! It was all very well thought through and planned thanks so much to you! There was nothing really to improve on!

Such a great family holiday – I felt my boys were at the exact right age to do this trip (age 8 and 10). Their favourite part of the trip was cycling around the island village/jungles in Halong Bay!  All the guides were very friendly and great.

Sofitel Metropole in Hanoi was a gorgeous hotel. Our guide recommended their free hotel tour here – and that was a highlight. The hotel discovered a bomb shelter underneath their pool bar about 4 years ago. Lovely man took the 50 min tour – it was fantastically done.

Sapa was really wonderful!  A bit colder than I expected – but so beautiful and rustic there. Great walks through the paddy fields to see the locals at school, work, farming and in their homelife.  The train ride to and fro was great – comfortable and awesome character/style! The Victoria Hotel was lovely too – simple, rustic, mountaineering type hotel which had great food and service.

The 12 seater seaplane to Halong Bay was fun – amazing to land on water! We’ve never been on a seaplane before! We really enjoyed the Au Co Cruise – have to say the crew leaders were fantastic – entertaining, helpful and communicated well. I felt it looked like one of the more superior cruisers among them all! The rooms were comfortable and the food was great (maybe too much food!).

Nha Trang was great to relax at the end of the trip. The family really enjoyed their in-house restaurant – really great food – and good wine selections. We did a great day trip to the islands on speed boat. Hotel Mia was lovely – small boutique hotel with beach and swimming pool.

Thank you again for arranging such a great holiday!
