The resort features 28 private bungalows, purposely built completely by hand in wood to provide unique accommodation in harmony with its surrounding, the beach, the many palm trees and its nearby villages. The bungalows cater up to 70sqm living room and 40sqm private terrace overlooking the seaside. All rooms are non-smoking and equipped with a safe, tea and coffee facilities, air conditioning adn laundry services.
Their Restaurant features a large terrace that overlooks the ocean where we serve fine Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, accompanied by a generous selection of fine wines.
Beside their extensive menu, they offer fresh local fish and shellfish from the catch of the day, as well as home-grown fruits and vegetables from their own Garden.
The Ungbin Bar invites you to try exotic Cocktails as well as their classic Drinks. Guests most favoured meeting places at the Amara Ocean Resort is the large Swimming Pool. Featuring a large sun terrace with deck-chairs and an open Bar for drinks and snacks, you are sure to enjoy this Tropic Paradise.
The library offers an extensive collection of books, magazines, CD’s and Games. Old classics, new bestsellers as well as works of fiction are all there. We also have books with colourful illustrations on the history, people, culture and art of Myanmar. In the TV Lounge you will find a Satellite TV with reception of all major and international broadcast stations.
