The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai

Dubai

Set on Dubai’s vibrant Marasi Bay Marina, The Lana sets a new standard amongst the glittering skyscrapers of this luxurious city.

Forming one half of a striking interconnected building, The Lana has 225 guest rooms and suites, eight exciting restaurants and bars, a rooftop infinity pool and a stunning spa – the Dior Spa at The Lana.

The hotel – the first to open in the Middle East by the Dorchester Collection - is designed to make the most of the city’s captivating vistas, gazing over the Burj Khalifa, Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, Dubai Design District and the desert beyond.

The name ‘The Lana’ has multiple meanings. One, in its Arabic translation, evokes a warm sense of belonging. Another means to gently float in calm water, like the waters of the Dubai Canal. The Lana encompasses all of this – it’s a place of tranquillity, extreme comfort, and exceptional hospitality.

Accommodation

The Lana has 104 rooms, 66 junior suites and 55 suites.

All 225 rooms and suites at The Lana offer their own distinct and wonderful way to experience Dubai, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows welcoming natural light and magnificent views and an outdoor terrace accessed through a sliding window.

Each room is designed with imposing high ceilings and a unique blend of traditional elements, such as stone parquet flooring, alongside contemporary touches inspired by the modern, urban landscape of Dubai. Most rooms also feature baths positioned so guests can enjoy an iconic view whilst bathing.

For a new level of luxury, The Lana’s five feature suites are designed with unique duplex layouts, dramatic double-height corner living rooms and outdoor terraces on both levels.

The two-bedroom royal suite wraps around the north corner of the building. This majestic suite is made for entertaining, thanks to its formal dining room and the vast terrace overlooking the Marasi Bay Marina and the city.

Gastronomy

The Lana’s eight restaurants and bars bring fresh energy to Downtown Dubai’s dining scene. Choose from the intimate lobby bar, Bitter Honey, to wood-fired cooking at Jara by Michelin-starred chef, Martín Berasategui, or indulge in a delicious pastry at Bon Bon Café by Angelo Musa.

Wellness

On the 29th floor, you will find the Dior Spa at The Lana, a well-being escape with personalised treatments, cutting-edge technology and an array of treatments.

Children

Children are welcome although there are no specific facilities such as a kids club.

Getting There

The Lana boasts excellent proximity to key destinations, with a mere 15-minute drive to the airport, 5 minutes to Downtown Dubai, 10 minutes to both DIFC and the Beach, and a convenient 25-minute distance to Palm Jumeirah.
